UMbRA stands for Unique Mission to Build Records and Arrests. It is a new product from the Biometrica stable, released on Sept 20, 2017. It is a search engine, much like an online search engine, except that it is connected to a database focused only on people that have been arrested, convicted of a crime, or wanted by law enforcement for one. It allows you to run searches on faces as well as texts (names/other characteristics) and is sourced 100% from law enforcement data.
VC7 allows you complete access to UMbRA, for facial recognition or text or FR+Text searches. As of the time of the VC7 full-scale release, Nov. 20, 2017, we currently have almost 6 million records, and 220-plus US counties in UMbRA, and this is growing everyday.
Our goal is to build the world's largest repository of 100% law enforcement verified data and provide fast and accurate search tools. While we are starting with arrest records we will also be ingesting, city, county, state, tribal and federal sex offender lists, wanted lists and other law enforcement lists from around the world. These include INTERPOL, EUROPOL, currently we have been provided access to 1173 counties, 39 states and 24 countries over and above the 191 countries that INTERPOL supports.
Your organization is required to know your customer and your employee and also know the source of funds spent in your casino in addition to protect your assets and fulfill your legal obligations, and UMbRA helps provide you that ability in seconds. Historically, Biometrica has been focused on “Know Your Customer” requirements and asset protection within the gaming and casino business. With UMbRA, Biometrica increases the ability for security and surveillance teams to track, identify and share information on people within their casinos, from thieves, to credit card cheats, to those with DUIs, to pedophiles to traffickers to terrorists and criminals of all stripes.
