User Creation
When creating a new user three conditions must be met.
- The following properties are required: Username and Property.
- Either a domain must be selected for Windows Authentication, or a password must be set for Local Authentication.
- At least one group must be assigned to the User.
Creating a Domain User
When creating a Domain User, the username provided must match the username of the referenced Windows User.
User Properties
Below is a description of the user properties and how they control the user experience

| Authentication Mode | The authentication Mode for the user. Choose whether the user can utilize domain login or must enter a username and password stored in the Visual Casino database. The machine must belong to a domain and the user must be in the same domain as the machine for Windows Authentication to work. |
| User Cannot Change Password | Prevent the user from changing the password |
| User Must Change Password at Next Logon | Force the user to change their password at next login. |
User Membership
Users must be a member of at least one group. By default, only a Administrator and Guest groups exist. To understand group creation and management visit the Permissions and Groups section.
Simple User Membership

Simple user membership allows for users to be assigned to a single group. This is simplified structure should be used when there is no desired for a layered permission approach. The user can be assigned to the Administrators Group, the Guests Group, or a user defined Group.
Advanced User Membership

Advanced user membership allows for a role-based access control approach to permission management. Users can be assigned to multiple groups that can have resource or feature permission management goals.
To assign a user to multiple groups, you check the box next to each group you wish the member to be a member of.
Data Permissions

Data permissions work in conjunction with User Groups and Clearance Groups to restrict new record visibility by default. By default, data permissions are Public (All Users), but you can choose one or more User Groups or Clearance Groups to be the default permissions for User created records in X-LST and LOGiT.
Once you have selected the User Groups and Clearance Groups, a list of users that will have access to records based on these permissions will show on the right hand side.
