Clearance Groups are a role-based method to control access to X-LST and LOGiT records. Clearance Groups are collections of one or more User Groups. Visibility of X-LST and LOGiT records can be restricted by User Groups and/or Clearance Groups. To learn more about default data permissions, see: Data Permissions. To learn more about setting permissions on LOGiT entries, see: XXX. To learn more about setting permissions on X-LST entries, see: YYYY.
Create a Clearance Group
To create a new Clearance Group, Click New Clearance Group in the quick menu.

Add a name for the Clearance Group and choose the User Groups that will be members of the Clearance Group. When done, click Save & Close.
Inactive Clearance Groups
There are two types of Clearance Groups, active and inactive. By default, the Clearance Group Modal does not show inactive Clearance Groups. To view inactive Clearance Groups, select the View menu and choose Show Inactive. This should place a checkbox next to Show Inactive in the menu and trigger the Modal Window to refresh to show the inactive Clearance Groups.
