Overview
Creating A New Alert
To create a SSIN alert, select the Create SIN Alert button in the SIN Alerts Menu.

In the New SSIN Alert modal window, enter data in the fields providing as much relevant information as possible - pink fields are required fields that must be completed.

After adding as much relevant information as possible, you can attach images to the alert to provide additional visual information related to the alert.
At any time during the process, you may Save a draft of the alert. To save a draft, click the Save or Save and Close buttons in the New SSIN Alert Window Menu.

Editing A Draft Alert
To edit a draft alert, locate the draft in the list, select it, and then choose Edit SSIN Alert button from the SIN Alerts View.

Any fields or data that can be edited when you are creating a SSIN alert can be edited at this time. Images can be added or removed, information can be added, updated, or removed.

Adding Images to an Alert
You can attach an image by clicking on the Add Image button at the bottom right of the screen.

There are a number of ways to add an Image to the alert:
- Video Snapshot
- Time Lapse
- From File
- From Scanner
- From Clipboard

Once you have added all of the images that you want to include to the image palette. You can either select the images you wish to include and click Use Selected Images or you can include all of the images in the palette by clicking Use All Images.
Video Preview
The Image Acquisition window offers the ability to preview the active video capture device's image. You can enable this by checking the Enable Video Capture checkbox.
Video Snapshot
If you have a physical capture device, you can manually capture still images from the capture device to add to the image palette. Click the Video Snapshot button or press Ctrl + S to capture an image from the selected video source. See Capture Card Setup for details on how to configure your capture card.
Time Lapse
If you are subscribed to Facial Recognition, use the Time Lapse button to automatically add images to the palette. Time Lapse capture periodically captures images from the capture device. It will continue to populate the image palette with images, replacing the lowest quality image as it runs. To enable or disable Time Lapse capture, click the Time Lapse button or press Ctrl + T.
From File
You can add an existing image file to the image palette to attach to the alert. Select From File, then navigate to the path of the image to add it to the image palette.
From Scanner
If the system has a scanner attached, you can capture an image from a scanner and add the image to the image palette. Click the From Scanner button and select the scanner you wish to capture an image from to attach.
From Clipboard
If there is an image in the clipboard, you can add that image to the palette by clicking From Clipboard or press Ctrl + V.
Remove Image
You can remove an image from the image palette by selecting it and clicking the trash button.
Sending An Alert
To send an alert, in the Edit window, click the Send button. This will open the recipients list. Choose the recipients that you wish to send the alert to and click OK.
