Components
The application window consists of a number of components:
Menu Bar
The menu bar provides access to overall application management functions and quick actions. Some important things to note about menu items:
- The menu bar of Visual Casino will differ depending on your Visual Casino subscription.
- Some options may be disabled or missing based upon your user permissions.
- Items in the menu that have an ellipsis (...) after them open up a modal window that contains additional control options or information.
File Menu
Here are the options for the dropdown File Menu for Visual Casino
- Log Off - log out of your user session with Visual Casino
- Change Password - change your Local Authentication password in Visual Casino
- Restart Visual Casino 8 - restart the Visual Casino application
- Exit - Close the Visual Casino application
Administration

- User Manager ... - opens the User Manager modal window (see: User Manager)
- Setup - expands to the Setup submenu (see: Setup)
- Database Management - expands to the Database Management submenu (see: Database Management)
- System Settings - expands to the System Settings submenu (see: System Settings)
- Advanced Settings - opens the Advanced Settings modal window (see: Advanced Settings)
- Fix Debug Error
- View Logs - opens the Log modal window (see: Viewing Application Logs)
- Run Tests - opens the Testing modal window (see: Running Connectivity Tests)
- Service Status - opens the Service Status modal window (see: Visual Casino Service Status)
- Run As Administrator - re-launches Visual Casino using elevated permissions via Windows Run As ...
- Reset 3M Scanner - reset a connected 3M/Idemia document scanner
- View Logins ... - view the current logged in users (see: Managing User Logins)
- View Outstanding Notifications ... - view your current outstanding notifications (see: XX)
- View 3M Scan History ... - view the scan history of a connected 3M/Idemia document scanner (see: XX)

Help
Main Menu
The main menu provides access to the subscribed modules of Visual Casino. The main menu of Visual Casino will differ depending on your Visual Casino subscription and your user permissions. Some options may be disabled or missing.
Search Form
The SSIN, X-LST, and LOGiT modules offer a search form that allows you to search for information - e.g. a specific SSIN alert or a specific person or employee - within that module.
Main Window
The main window displays the information related to that component or module. The layout will be different for each component.
Notification Center
The notification center displays information to the user about recent changes. These can include notifications about new alerts received or actions needed to perform like approving reports, among other things.
Connection Status
If the machine hosting Visual Casino is designated as the polling machine, information regarding the connection status to the remote Biometrica Systems servers may be displayed.
