There are two options to correct this issue.
Option 1: replace the update detection file
- Exit Visual Casino 6
- Download the replacement UpdateConfig.xml file from: https://support.biometrica.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/360005439274/UpdateConfig.xml
- Replace the file at: C:\ProgramData\Biometrica\VisualCasino6\ with the file downloaded in Step 2
- Run Visual Casino
The update should now be properly detected and downloaded.
Option 2: Remove Visual Casino 6 and Install Visual Casino 7
Note: this option requires you to be a local administrator on the machine, so it may require the assistance of your IT department
- Remove Visual Casino 6 using Add and Remove Programs from the Control Panel
- Download the latest version of Visual Casino 7 from: https://biometrica.com/download/visual-casino-7-windows-installer/
- Install Visual Casino 7 using the downloaded installer package
- Run Visual Casino
This should update you to the latest version of Visual Casino. Your existing settings regarding the database server and login method should remain.
