Upgrading from Visual Casino 8 to Visual Casino 8.1 is an in-place upgrade offered through the standard update process in Visual Casino.
You can upgrade workstations at any time, and workstations using Visual Casino 8 and Visual Casino 8.1 can coexist - but you cannot have both versions installed on a single workstation at the same time.

Prerequisites
Your upgrade process for Visual Casino 8.1 will depend on what features you have subscribed to in Visual Casino.
Users without Facial Recognition
For users that do not have Facial Recognition, there are no prerequisites to upgrading to Visual Casino 8.1
Users WITH Facial Recognition but WITHOUT XLST/Enrollment
For users with Facial Recognition, if you do not also have XLST/Enrollment, then there are no prerequisites to upgrading to Visual Casino 8.1
Users WITH Facial Recognition AND XLST/Enrollment
For users with both Facial Recognition and XLST/Enrollment, we recommend migrating Facial Recognition before upgrading to Visual Casino 8.1. We have a standalone utility to perform this migration. It comes as an extractable Zip and executable installer. Please follow the migration instructions found at Facial Recognition Migration.
Installation Steps
To update to Visual Casino 8.1 simply click the Update Available button in the top right of Visual Casino and follow the prompts to download and install the update.
Application Server Upgrade Process
There are no changes required to the application server to upgrade to Visual Casino 8.1.
Database Server Upgrade Process
There are no changes required to the database server to upgrade to Visual Casino 8.1.
